Charlie doesn't talk about his father hardly at all, or to almost anyone at all--just her and Sabrina, possibly, and Nick when he'd still been here--and for good reason. It's always a little surprising when he does come up, like being entrusted with a confidence Rosie knows she has to work hard to deserve.
